2MB ram (so not a great deal of sample space, enough for drum loops), floppy
drive (no SCSI backup AFAIK), not massive (but adequate, I think its 8 but
I'm not sure) polyphony
Built like a (small) brick outhouse, but it's mains only which might
preclude live use.

I've heard people suggest going for the S20 rather than the MPC because the
S20's got better memory and a floppy drive.

The frontman/songwriter in our band has got one and loves it, but he's
selling it & his keyboard to buy one of those neat new Emu things with the
sampler built in... (git! ;-))
