de> I don't know if anyone recommended Adam F's "Colours" as jazzy

i played the sh*t outta that album when i first got it. i'm actually
starting to go back to it for playing out. the thing though, is that half
of
it is really "jazzy" (i.e. rhodes sounds, double bass, etc.) the other half
is
hard & darkish... i did this weird blend once w/some beats from a hard
track
and a tribe acapella--gotta put that onna mixtape, baby!

de> I won't be putting
de> that Massive Attack back in my Cd player either; it was boring
de> to me. The vocalists they had this time around weren't as unique as
de> they had on the last with Nicolette and Tracy Thorn.

i'll admit upfront i don't have the new massive record yet, but i've found
that sometimes they take a little time to grow on you. i wasn't that
impressed w/protection until i'd gone back to it after months of *no
protection* (the mad professor dub version). so take it out for a while,
and
check it in another few months...

p.s. isn't elisabeth fraser from cocteau twins on this one? she takes a
while to get used to no matter *who* she's with...
