some recommendations:

buy hiphop/rap 12"s, turn them over and listen to the instrumental versions

I don't know if you're familiar with these triphop/abstract hiphop/whatever
names but you can buy albums of these artists without listening as far as
I'm concerned

- Kruder and Dorfmeister
- Thievery Corporation
- Smith & Mighty
- Kid Loco
- Outside
- Pressure Drop
- Palm Skin Productions
- United Future Organization (UFO)
- Headz 1 & 2A/B compilations (on MO Wax)

no problem if you don't like rapping, that leaves more gems for me in the
recordbins...but I'm telling you..you're missing out on a lot of good
material...
