Maybe this thread does not belong to this group... anyway, let's keep
it short.

I've seen at least three approaches:

1. Insert wrong check-sum codes on the original CD. This makes the
   CD-R think something went wrong.

2. Make the original CD contain more than 650 MB data (74 min. music).
   Most CD-Rs cannot deal with this, or CD-R media I should say.

3. SCMS, sub-code on the CD prevents making copies from a copy.
