Kadu,

"Prawns" is one of my favorites from a couple of years back. I'd recommend
that you pick up a compilation called Menu Kebab from Big Cheese Records.
There is a remix of "Prawns" on this comp with an extension of funky horns
you just gotta love. Another track on Menu Kabab by the Malka family
offers up a sampling of some fine, french, funk. I'm hoping to get my
hands on the 9 track from the Malka's sometime soon. I'd highly recommend
anything from the Big Cheese label or it's sister label, 220 Volts Records.
220 covers more of the d'n'b side of things. The 220 Volts FM comp is a
good starter. The tracks by King Kooba and Daphreephunkateerz are my
personal picks. I'm anxiously awaiting full-lengths from either of these
groups.

Later,

Devon

Hey,

I just found a crazy group. Crazy but very good (I think so, because I only
listened 2 musics). The name is "THE BIG CHEESE ALL STARS".
Take a look at his 1st album "Prawns", and the 1st single "I'm gonna love
you", a Barry White's classic. http://cermics.enpc.fr/~dh/fromage/prawns.html

What do you think about? What do you sugest?

Kadu.
