Dear Musician,

If you or someone you know has seen
Caedmon's Call or any other number of acoustic folk bands who use
alternative percussion, you have probably seen guys like
Garett
Buell pounding on something that looks like a wooden conga drum.

After seeing Caedmon's in 1994, I decided that I wanted to make drums like
this, too. And have since had my drums played with several bands and heard in
acoustic sets and summer camps all over the state of Texas. Lot's of people
ask me to make them one, but I just don't have the time or financial resources
to do so. So what I have done is written down the instructions that I have
discovered using trial and error many times and taken a photo of a couple of
my drums and would like to offer this package for only five bucks. I can also
send you tips and exercises on better playing. I am an artist of sorts and
this is how I feel that I can sell my work.

These drums are easy and inexpensive to make and only require a drill, a
jigsaw, and a circular saw. The other materials are included in the
instructions and shouldn't cost more than $30.

This is the deal. All you have to do is e-mail me a mailing address to send
the instructions to and I will send you the instructions. Upon reciept of the
instructions, all that I ask of you is to mail a five dollar bill (or five
dollars for each person who uses the directions) to an address included in the
packet.

If you know anyone else who might be interested in this offer, please forward
this e-mail to them.

Thanks. After I recieve notice from you that you have recieved my
instructions, I would be glad to answer any questiions you have.I think that
you will enjoy making your own wooden drum. :O)
