Beth--that's her name, right?-- was the one who was stiff. She looked so
emaciated and it looked like the way she was holding on to the microphone
on the stand was the only thing holding her up--but that effect goes well
with her songs.

>They did only you with ful orchestra, though

Well, a string section ain't exactly a ful (sic) orchestra, for those who
might get the wrong idea. It was a nice touch to have the live strings,
contrasted with the turntable samples. Obviously it was done for
aesthetics because the sounds could have been managed quite well by the
synth. The overall effect of this grouping and tune was one of
minimalism: Not much movement, dark chords, subdued guitar, keyboard, and
keyboard work. A nice effect, although the string section looked too
happy for some reason, while playing this somber song.

>they used the pink panther sampls as on the Cd.

Pink panther? Maybe that's one of the reasons I like the song. Is this
Mancini samples?

Warm as January in Minnesota. Come on! Maybe unique. Definitely edgy.

"Only you" isn't exactly a shake-your-booty song but none of their stuff
is dance music, unless you're a zombie, maybe. Have they been remixed for
dance? Stiffer than Sade? No comparison! Sade doesn't dance--she moves
like a goddess! Correction: she is a goddess.
