NEW ARTISTS, LABELS AND TITLES...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CDuctive is honored to announce its agreement with Bristol (UK)-based Cup of Tea Records! The city has spawned many of today's most creative artists: Massive Attack, Tricky, Roni Size/Reprazent, Smith & Mighty, to name a few. With acts like Monk & Canatella, Statik Sound System, Receiver, Purple Penguin, Mr. Neveux, and many others, the label has earned its reputation as one of the most consistent and high quality independents around.
A warm welcome to New York's Kult Records! Kult specializes in uplifting vocal-based house and has been putting out some real stormers as of late. Check out tracks from Kevin Yost, Terry Hunter, Deep Swing, and more.
San Francisco's OM Records has provided CDuctive with its first of several installments of titles. Two brand new releases of groove drenched beats, each with impressive vocals, from Terra Diva and Eighty Mile Beach. Highly recommended!
Also from San Francisco, Silent Records is known for searching the globe in the pursuit of the newest experimental sounds. Through agreement with Silent, CDuctive is making available many quality releases from diverse independent labels worldwide. If you like the Warp or Clear labels, check out great experimental techno from the SKAM label, hailed by NME as "one of the ten most happening labels in Britain." Or explore San Francisco drum 'n' bass artists from XLR8R Tracks. House fans should try Jondi & Spesh, who contribute their well known brand of tribal house on their Silent-affiliated label, Looq. Experimental hip-hop fans should tap into Metabass 'n' Breath, on the Australian Bomb Basic label.
We've added a host of new ambient tracks from the critically acclaimed Recycle or Die label. Originally considered a sub-project of the Eye Q and Harthouse labels, the Recycle or Die series soon became celebrated as a unique and experimental examination of sound, harmony and modern technology - an important step in the tradition of the pioneering German avant-garde. Experiment yourself with the powerful works contributed by such artists as Dominic Woosey, Ralf Hildenbeutel, Oliver Lieb, and others.
CDuctive is continuing to beef up on fat beats, thanks to a new relationship with London-based trailblazers Emotif Recordings and Botchit 'n' Scarper. In this first of several installments, Emotif puts forth some forward minded drum 'n' bass from Ray Keith T-Power and others. Meanwhile large beats abound, courtesy of the Botchit 'n' Scarper posse.
Under Cover Music Group has graced us with some more fine releases. From its Plastic City label, we are pleased to make available the latest from German tech-house guru Terry Lee Brown Jr. His album "Chocolate Chords", from which the tracks come, received rave reviews in over 50 magazines and was put in the top 5 dance records by many of them, including Mixmag. Also off Plastic City, comes the new record from Lexicon. Trance fans will be pleased to check out Nostrum's new releases on Time Unlimited and Commander Tom's new tracks off Noom Records.
Everyone's favorite subliminal kid, DJ Spooky, offers us a bunch of new tracks, including those from his most recent EP, Synthetic Fury. Check out these new tracks in all their illbient glory.
Dance Music Classic! Derrick May's "Nude Photo", produced under his Rhythim is Rhythim moniker, has been added to our catalog. This is the first of many upcoming classic tracks to be featured here at CDuctive.
COMING IN AUGUST...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We've just signed up Jarrett Records, a relatively new label run by artist and industry veteran David Jarrett. The label is poised for success, already releasing records from acts like Anything Box, Mesh, and Seven Red Seven. In the month running up to their release through CDuctive, check out videos from the Anything Box on Rolling Stone Network and JAMtv.

DJ Vadim's own Jazz Fudge Recordings has just provided us with some stellar instrumental hip-hop. Releases from Vadim, Mark B, and others will be available in one month. Oakland's ABB Records and Hieroglyphics crew, both of which have been creating a serious buzz in recent months, will be with you soon. From the East Coast, look for releases from fine independent hip-hop labels Raw Shack and WordSound.

Blue Planet and sister label Silver Planet have signed up, bringing you releases from Mike Paradinas (muziq), Marco Zaffarano (lo-fi superstar), Plug (famed for "Drum 'n' Bass For Papa"), the flamboyant and soon-to-be sensation The Bowling Green, and others.

Holistic Recordings is on board. Home to the fabulous Max Brennan, Holistic serves up genre-busting, experimental sounds which beautifully fuse the acoustic and the electronic.

Speed garage powerhouse Reverb Records will make a large selection of its chart-topping tracks available next month. Get ready!

And a few surprises! Big ones…
