I agree that DnB is definitly something new and fresh to music and enjoy
all the other kinds of "electronica" musics as well (Just a descriptor, im
not trying start a "what are music labels for" string)
The thing that trips me out the most is how people love to diss new styles
of music. I understand if people just dont like how it sounds, but hwen they
start attacking the way the music was made it just trips me out. The reason
being that almost evry music genre has come across the same kind of
criticicsm. Rock and funk where criticized heavily cause of the electric
guitar distortion e.t.c. and now that rock and funk are more acceptable,
those same people will turn around and criticize new creativity in music
that is drum machine, sampler e.t.c. I just hope I can i always keep my mind
open, even when i get too lazy to accept change.
