Rick Martinez (post 23/6 from <dopejazz@webtv.net>) offered
us an excellent selection of D&B style creators who have
Jazz essence.

I would highlight Alex Reece, Adam F, and the
strange Squarepusher and only add Smith & Mighty (Dub
crossover) and James Hardway (OnU Sound stable?) to his list
and suggest those that have so far missed the point take a
listen - and you *will need* deep bass to receive.

Who knows, I've forgotten - what *was* the name of that 50's
jazz kit drummer who played these kind of breaks with hands
and sticks?
