Ooooh, handbags at 20 paces :) No, really I never meant to upset anyone. I
didn't actually know about this big contest thing. I've been wrong like that
before myself and I'm glad to be corrected. It's quite interesting when someone
makes a mistake on the radio or in a magazine or something. If you hear/read it
from a source like that, you tend to believe it. I was told that the Chester
Thompson who released "Power House" on Black Jazz was a different person to the
Tower Of Power keyboard player and that he was a drummer. I've heard the same
thing from a few different sources AND I've told other people the same. But
I've since been told by someone who knows better that it is the TOP guy. I
think he was right on that occasion. The same person said they thought Lonnie
Smith and Lonnie Liston Smith were one and the same. I'm pretty sure they were
wrong on that one though. Nobody know everything.

Sorry Elson, I don't know much about the contemporary stuff that's discussed on
the list anymore. When something comes up that I can talk about, I jump on it.
