I play guitar with a soul/funk band called (at the moment) Transmogrifier,
we play out in Liverpool every so often (next date is Wednesday 1st April at
O'Neill's bar, Fenwick street supporting some other bands, doors 7:30pm
£2.00). Our singer/lead guitarist writes all the songs wich have a Glen
Hughes vibe to them. (I'd never heard of him until I joined!)

(Well, erikb did say it was ok to plug the band I'm in!)
That's enough bandwidth wastage for one day ;-), but has anyone here heard
Omni Trio's 'The Deepest Cut'? I think it was the first album, but I always
thought that was called 'Volume 1: The Deepest Cut' not just 'The Deepest
Cut', and its undated which is dodgy in itself. I got it yesterday and it
sounds pretty cool, d&b right from when hardcore was prevalent. (It contains
the Foul Play remix of 'renegade snares', although I think its the Volume 1
(rather than the classic Vol. 3) remix). Cat number is ASHADOW 1DX.
Basically I want to know if this is the genuine article or some pirate 'best
of' album.
Partial tracklisting (from memory :-)
1. Renegade Snares (Foul Play Remix)
2. Together (VIP mix)
3.
4. Rollin' Heights
5. something or other '95 lick'
6. Soul of Darkness
7.
.
.
. Final track - Renegade Snares
That's about as much as I can remember.
Feel free to flame me for having such a vague question and lousy info! :-)
Cheers,
Tim Kemp.
