DEAR LIST: Bill withers has been responsible for more breaks from fewer
albums than anyonein th sampling biz except Jb ,issaac hayes andsly
stone. two of his albums produced the following. "The break from who is
he and what is he to you"- the remake by Creatve source(ll Phenomenon)
is mor famous lately but his vrersion isfly and less disc-y. Grandma
hands_ was the source of "nodiggety" by BlackstreeT. then there is
useme(which is hard to loop actually-its notjust 'sample and loop "it
takes editing) . "Kissin my love" was used by Dre on let me ride. The
sad thingis thatyou cant get a good loop of the"i know part" off Aint no
sunshne" ive tried everything: karaoke machines, eq's. Ill just have to
hire a drummer one day when i get rich.
