regular cdr's, that is those that can be recorded only once, cost $1-3
nowadays. the $20 cdr's are *rewritable*, so you can re-record on them as
on a regular audio tape.

recording a cdr in multiple sessions is only dependent on the software
that you are using and not on the media, so it is possible to do on any
blank cd.
