dear list; as mentioned as lot of books are coming out on black music
and groups agter a long rockocentric drought. I bet that oral history
(sly p-funk etc)series is great. Ill have to special order it. For now
I bought a reggae history as it was right ther right then. Its called
REGGAE: the Rough Guide by Steve barrow and Peter dalton. Its got
good sectons on dub and reviews of major albums in the genre plus an
On U sound catalogue in back.WArning: they dont make it easy for North
americans to get the stuff but at east i know names and cat# . As for he
e fhbooks merits Where else can you find that Mad professors Dub Me
crazy seiries # 3, 5, and 10 were the better ones? See now you havea
good start on this. As a trip hopper the dub section justified the
purchase as well as its (Aj relevance) . Also read the Death Row book
by Ronin Ro in store. Between this book and Snoops interview in the
new rappages magazine(www.rappages.com on the web 4.99atthe stand) you
geta sad story. whew what a waste. Frightening! Ill probably buy it
soon.
