<nyc> Understanding Work Styles

I went down to the huge mega-Travelers building
down at 388 Greenwich Street, Tribeca
this early morning to attend a employee seminar on
"Understanding Work Styles."

Some weird shit.

There were New-Age wishy-washy human-self-potential
msg scribbled on mega-pads and posted
around this corp conference room.

Huge scribble pads with inspirational quotes from
snake oil salesppl, like Dale Carnegie.
("How to Make Friends, and Win Over Ppl")

Two young woman unnerved me by grinning
these big, toothy smiles as soon as I walked in.

Well, turns out, I was only *wait-listed* for the class,
I didn't receive a copy of the Myers-Brigg personality test.

Oh well.

I became politicized by the contemplative life.
Meditation is what brought me to political radicalization.
I came to the revolution by way of the Gospels.
It was not by reading Marx but Christ.
It can be said that the Gospels made me a Marxist.

IN XOCHITL IN CUICATL, Nahuatl for poetry.
Literally it means Flower Song,
or flowers and songs;
a double metaphor to name poetry,
which is essentially a metaphor.

OMETEOTL (OME, two, TEOTL, god):
"Two Gods," or "Two-God" was the Supreme Being,
conceived as the Masculine-Feminine principle.
And poetry was the manifestation of God
on earth and a means to reach Him/Her,
the Supreme Metaphor, the Supreme Poetry ...
