Hmmm, which Ortofon carts are these.... Pro 'S' or the hugely expensive
'Concorde' versions ? Without seeing the problem, I'd guess that is was a
cart to arm wiring problem.

I like the Pro 'S' carts, the only real bug bear that I have is that the
weights that come with them are really poor - I'm having to resort to
taping pennies on the headshell just to get a decent balance. Just me or
anybody else have this ? This seems to be just the recent carts, the older
ones were supplied with a much meatier weight......

ON TOPIC BIT : Well done Elson on keeping it together in the face of one of
your heroes....I just turn to a jibbering mess and can barely speak if I
meet anybody that I admire, professionally or otherwise :)
