Elson says it is generally conceded that MMW are not innovators. A-ight! Who
knows of some pre-MMW free-form funky organ trios (or quartets, etc.?) They
must be out there, and if the're bad, I'd like to check 'em out. Not Jimmy
Smith or Groove Holmes type stuff; less swing, more funk.
(By the way, Shack-Man was the only MMW that did it for me, so far.)
