I first heard of 'do something' on MTV of all places...I usually like a
raspy, jazz/soul voice, but her's seems too much of an adolescent type.
It's okay, but I imagine getting tired of it. But the music sounded to good
to be domestic...I'm curious about the rest of her stuff...

Heard snippets of the album.

Beats were 3xdope.

Vocals were so-so.

Macy Gray is 28, originally from Ohio, has been based in Los Angeles for the
past several years. In fact, she sang on a track off the Black Eyed Peas'
album,
"Behind The Front."

I'd like to say, if Erykah Badu sounds like Billie Holliday in her 20s, then
Macy Gray sounds like Billie Holliday IF SHE WERE ALIVE TODAY.
