Hi,
My name is jahsonic and I just recently (yesterday to
be precise) joined the list.
Why? Because everytime I look up a name in a search
engine of an artist I like, I always wind up in the
acid jazz mailing list archives. It seems like you
guys really know how to appreciate good music. I foudn
info on the Idjut Boys, Larry Levan, Doug Wimbush,
Lonnie Liston Smith,... You name it, the list talks
about it.
I would also like to take this opportunity to invite
you over to my pages.
I have just finished a little page on acid jazz, but
also feel free to explore 'meta grooves' further, and
do not hesitate to share info, comment, reflect, or
even criticize ;-) what I have done so far.
