That would be the notorius Necro. I think he's Ill Bill's
(from non-phixion) cousin, or brother. Well, at anyrate,
he came up with those kids in Brooklyn. He has a
completely indie 12" about two years ago called "Get on
Your Knees" with the b-side called "hardcore" (I think
that's the name) which is unbelieveble, and put out an EP
about a year and a half ago that has a couple pretty nice
joints on it as well, although lacking a little bit of the
fire from his first 12". He is the only one who has really
done Cage justice beatwise (Agent Orange/Radiohead 12"),
but Mighty Mi does pretty well, and the 54 record is dope.
They also rhyme on this record that came out a couple
months back by the "GreedyFingers" which is another UK
crew. There tracks are pretty nice, the beats are a little
recycled sounding, but thats coming from a crate digger, so
never mind.

Cage I find to be less horror core, and more on some sick
twisted style, combined with some very intellectual
complexity, if you can believe that. He is my favorite MC,
and it's great to see him being productive again. He
put out another 12" on Fondle 'Em a couple months
back, which had some horrendous beats on it. He also
is on the Smut Peddler's records, the best being "One
by One" (using the great Lyn Christopher song "take me with
you") and the b-side "The Hole Repetoir" and did another
track with Eon on the Cloud Kickers record, which was
also really nice. There is a Smut Peddlers album coming
out on Rawkus, and I think it will be pretty nice, as long
as they put Cage in the spotlight and Eon as the side man
as they have in all the singles. Maybe that's just
incidental to Cage's and Eon's styles though.

Hope this helps the three people out there that care...
