This week’s new releases and restocks are now posted (at www.groovedis.com).
Not a big week for releases but think quality not quantity. We are running
behind getting our new charts up and we still haven’t finished our DJ mixes
but we should have new charts and at least one mix up by the middle of the
week. Don’t forget we are still offering a $50 reward for help in filling
our two open positions (see below, under Help Wanted, for details).

The highlights this week (11/29/99) are:
Acid Jazz/Trip Hop: for the Down To The Bone/Four 80 East fans the new Mr.
Gone album on Internal Bass is now in stock on vinyl, folk jazz 7” from Nash
(prod by Femi Fem), S-Tone Inc. new CD, and the latest Break ‘N’ Bossa
compilation from SCHEMA with tracks by Beanfield, Mr. Hermano, Nicola Conte,
Bob Sinclair, Jazzanova, Faze Action and more.

Drum ‘n’ Bass: new B.L.I.M. 12” on Emotif with remixes by EB1 (aka Carl from

Hip Hop: new Blackalicious album (and very limited triple LP) on Mo’ Wax,

disguise) doing a cut-up/scratch ‘em up track called “Bedroom Twiddling”.

Quakerman single, Dave Lee (aka Joey Negro) releases a new single as
Mistura, and a new house compilation from France’s Pro-Zak Trax (home of
Kojak).

the other Marine Parade releases (including BT & Tsunami One’s “Hip Hop
Phenomenon”), Cut & Paste album (CD Only), awesome new Leftfield single with

new DJ Mag), and a new Sparky Lightbourne 12” on SKINT (the best SKINT has
released in months).

And don’t forget the cool new Pro-Sac Record Bags now in stock. The Pro-Sac
is the new King Of The Record Bags. Available in black and VERY limited
silver, navy blue, and olive green.
