What's going on everyone? I am a hip-hop DJ that is interested in finding instrumental hip-hop records with a very strong Jazz influence. What I'm particularly concerned with is music along the lines of the "Fat and Jazzy Grooves" Compilations released on the New Breed label a few years back. I have most of the Fat and Jazzy Grooves volumes on vinyl, and would love to find the remaining ones that I don't have. Also, if you know of anything that's out now on vinyl that is similar, please let me know!!!!

Currently I'm really big on The Herbaliser "Very Mercenary" album, all of Shadow's work, DJ Krush, The Prunes, DJ Vadim, Q-bert's Album "Wave Twisters", Donald Byrd, Roy Ayers, Bobby Hucherson, and tons of other good stuff like that. Give me some info about something that you've heard that may be of interest. Especially the obscure stuff!!!!

Let me know also if there are any producers on the list that are making music similar to what I'm looking for. I've been making beats for the past year and a half, and am interested to see who else out there has the same tastes as me.

Thanks for your time . . . . JOSH
