I was talking to someone who is still signed to Mo' Wax last weekend or so
and they told me that Attica, along with Money Mark were no longer attached
to the label and I assumed that they had been retained by Polygram. If I
remember correctly, all the Mo' Wax roster were jointly signed to A&M/Mo'
Wax, so after the collapse and take over of A&M, contracts had to be
bought out or otherwise transfered by the 'new' Mo'Wax/XL partnership.
I'm not sure of the status of DJ Shadow however, I believe that he will
eventually be a Mo'Wax/XL artist, but I don't think that the whole contract
situation has been resolved yet.....
As for Attica's future plans..... Al Collins, are you still out there ?
