the roots have been remixing stuff for a while now. it usually sounds like
they're the band hired to play on the track. sometimes they'll use some
stuff from the original music, but not usually.
as far as the shoki mixes--definitely check them! if you're a cd buyer,
there's supposed to be a collection of all the mixes coming out.
