Bob Jones has been DJing for over 25 years, playing a selection of soul,
gospel, jazz and uptempo dance tunes. I discovered him when he used to do a
Sunday night show on London's Kiss FM which followed Patrick Forge and
Gilles Peterson. Made for a very tired Monday morning.

Kiss has become less adventurous in recent years and Bob Jones started to
show up again on BBC GLR (now London Live) filling in for Ross Allen and
Norman Jay when they were on holiday and now has his own show midnight
Thursday into Friday. LondonLive transmits in RealAudio, the link is at
www.bbc.co.uk/londonlive/ (the website contains a schedule for the station
including Coldcut, Ross Allen and Norman Jay but is also for news on London
and the radio details are a little hidden away).

Stop and Listen Volume 1, also on BBE records, gives a more eclectic
selection of Bob's tastes. He also produces East West Connection on Chilli
Funk records and used to (?) run a record label called, I think, Black on
Black which did a superb compilation including 'Sausalito Caling' by Camelle
    Hinds.
