I kinda liked it. I didn't think he overdid it, and
I'm very critical of mcs. There was one shining
moment, too...He went on a little rant, sounded
vaguely inspired by "the revolution will not be
televised". He was saying "There will be no--" this
"There will be no--" that, I forget everything he
said, but the point was there will be no fakin', no
shakin', no watering down. The one I remember is
"There will be no fat free!!" woohoo!!!

I love Mr. Zinger's piece on TransAtlantic Audio, a
hilarious chat over jazz about frantically trying to
run to every record store in london in search of that
ellusive 12" all in one hour. We've all done it. ;)

I never weighed in on that comp, btw. I like it a
lot. I didn't have another copy of the over-released
Beanfield-The Season, which is the star of the comp, I
think. But the whole thing is solid. Plus *blush* I
got an extra-special limited edition Valentine copy.
A very sweet dj got it for me and decorated it with
pictures of roses and hearts. Not only very pretty,
but dj friendly, too! This sweetie pie made sure that
each side of each record had different stickers on
them so they'd be easily distinguishable. !!! Take
notes: that's how to make a grrl's heart go
    pitter-patter. ;)
