    Artist Bios

KING BRITT (Sylk 130, Ovum Recordings, Philly): Josh Wink's labelmate &
former Digable Planets DJ returns to the edge after mesmerizing the entire
industry at this event back in 1998. King Britt is silky smooth old school,
jazz, house and rare groove - simply wicked.

JAZZANOVA (JCR, Sonar Kollectiv, Germany): Claas Brieler from the Jazzanova
collective fuses deep, Brazillian dancefloor jazz with latin percussion,

PRINCE PAUL (Handsome Boy Modeling School, NYC); Formerly of Stetsasonic
and De La Soul, and currently a member of hip-hop royalty, he still
remembers when hip-hop was fun 'n' games.

MIGUEL MIGS (Naked Music, SF): Catch this brilliant SF-based house
DJ/Producer live. Disappear into Migs' deep house, soulful vibes, downtempo
ballads, and peak hour garage from the SF label of the moment, Naked Music.

DIXON (Recreation, Sonar Kollectiv, Germany): this Berlin-based DJ/Producer
recently released his now-seminal, smoothed-out house mixed CD "Off Limits"
    (pick it up, y'all)

JEROME SYDENHAM (Ibadan, NYC): Nigerian born, NYC bred DJ/Producer is best
known for taking afro-beat and afro-house to anothe level alongside Joe
Claussell, Francois K., and the crew from Body & Soul in NYC.

TONY WATSON (Mekanic, More, LA): The star of the Friday night weekly MORE
in L.A. has amassed a huge dance following for his impassioned approach to
    DJing and producing.

GARTH TRINIDAD (KCRW 89.9, Chocolate City): LA's own pioneer of independent
hip-hop, world sounds, R&B, and new soul - blazing a trail as the voice of
progressive music and host of "Chocolate City" on KCRW.
