Went to see her concert here in Copenhagen
this sunday, and what an intimate and
exciting gig that was.
Bebel has the nicest of appearances
resembling an exotic and talented
woman who knows just how sensual her
voice and charisma is.
The concert went on as a flirtatious
dialouge between audience and stage.
Definately had the hook in the more
mannish part of the audience on that
account.
She was backed by a quartet, consisting
of acoustic/electric guitar, percussion/drums,
flute/sax and keyboards.
They delivered a toptuned and finely adjusted
set which supported Bebels voice in a
really fine matter.
Fortunately they were more on the soft, subtle
tip as compared to doing their own hear-me shit.
Bossa at its finest. As far as I can remember
she did the following songs;
Close your eyes
Batucada
So Nice (summer samba)
Banaera sa
and some others, some of them twice :-))
All in all a perfect way to end the
week, and recharge for yet another one.
