I too am in LA for a bit, as of yesterday, until Sunday, and am just
echoing the request for good clubs...
Last night I saw Lady Kier at the Viper Room, she was really terrible. She
couldn't beat match at all, I think someone came up to try to help her, I
almost felt sorry for her except that she is famous and it doesn't matter
what she does anyway. (singer from Dee-lite... shoulda had an actual dj
there and then sang over the tracks...)
Since I didn't pay at the door I didn't think twice about leaving, but I
realize I missed a Guy Called Gerald, so if someone was there and wants to
fill me in, I'd appreciate it.
