PRESS RELEASE * For Immediate Release

Planet E Communications quietly launched the initial version of their new
website (www.planet-e.net) yesterday, August 29, 2000 the same day also
saw the release of the new Carl Craig CD "Designer Music volume 1 -
Greatest remixes." Boasting an impressive flash-based interface, the site
also features a soundtrack by none other than label owner Carl Craig
himself. Currently on the site are all recent press releases from the
Detroit-based techno imprint, including information on Craigšs new album,
a collection of his remix work spanning the past decade. In the coming
months, you can expect to find artist pages (including biošs), a
regularly updated news section, as well as both exclusive and
non-exclusive mp3šs and real audio clips from Planet E, including
material from their hip hop label, Antidote, and their jazz imprint,
Community Projects. Future plans also include
e-commerce of music and merchandise, audio and video webcasts, not to
mention some Planet E screensavers for all the serious fans out there.
The site was designed by Detroit-based multimedia designers Rita Sayegh
and Scott Stephanoff of www.pilotpictures.com, who have previously done
work for Innerzone Orchestra, Jeff Mills and the Detroit Electronic Music
    Festival.

Stand by for news of a national Planet E tour soon ...
