First off Megan, great review. I bought the album a few weeks ago, and can't get enough of it. I've been on the search for anything and everything by her, and have went out of the way to find her singles with remixes and different versions of songs.

I was able to get a burn of a live radio broadcast she did in London, and I am looking forward to seeing her when she comes my way. I like how she feeds off the crowd, and the crowd feeds off her. It's mutual, just like her music suggests, and at one point of the show she goes "I'm not turning around because my skirt has a rip and it's being held by a safety pin. You wanna see?" And she turns around. Crowd reacts in a manner of "aww c'mon".

During "The Way" (my favorite song on the album), she talks about how she remembers feeling lost, and when she found love, her life changed. She talks about holding love with two hands, two feet, two eyes, one mouth, and how she felt like letting her perm go and showing the world how she really is, where the women in the house just go nuts. For me, I can just imagine a huge smile on her face as she's singing. What I like about the show is that it's not just the women who can relate to her music, but the guys are shouting out "a'ight" and "you go Jill" throughout the show. I can feel it.
