    The music was produced by DJ Spooky. The soundtrack is available; it
    has the (already mentioned) Esthero & Goodie Mob track, as well as
    poetry readings taken from the film and assorted hip hop tracks.

    I was lucky enough to see Saul talk about the film last summer during
    the Bumbershoot festival in Seattle. That man is deep, to say the
    least.
    Apparently, the original screenplay had to go through a great deal of
    compromising before the final cut. If Saul had had his way, the ending
    of "Slam" would have been completely different (don't want to spoil it
    for those who haven't seen it, though :)

    Regardless, the film is excellent.
