D'angelo joint is class AAAAA the album is sooooooo
bad I cant even start. The smallest feat is the
sparseness that lets u fill the space with the magic
he and his cohorts suggest with every note and
    boom-bap.

This minimal approach still manages to establish a
souled out rendition without sounding nu jack (what do
u mean, most nu jak cats just repeat catch-melodies
and choruses over and over this guy is flippin' every
note like a spanish omelete spiced with african
    ginger.... he's on fire tonight!).

I gave Angie Stone a quick listen at the local HMV and
wasnt convinced. Its kinda half-way there, whereas D
    is elsewhere.

I think u mistake soul for sweet. It appears to me
that its instant gratification u r after like in "hmmm
I can sing along to this...".

    PEACE

    t

PS: In the end of it all, its only my view, to each
    his own....
