    I think "Spanish Joint" is a good tune.

    But the thing that bothers me about the album (and the reigning commercial
    rap/r&b mentality) is D'Angelo's overweening narcissism. I don't hear
    D'Angelo singing about "The Ecology" "Machine Gun" or a "Higher Ground" or
    "What a Wonderful Thing Love Is". The comparisons are desperately
    exaggerated but can you blame the exaggerators, given the status quo?
