I'll be accepting them through this weekend (this weekend lasts 3 days here
in the US thanks to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr),

ACID JAZZ LIST DECADE POLL
Even though the '90s will go down as one of the most violent, senseless,
idiotic and
hate-filled decades this century, there were still some good things that
entered
our consciousness the past 10 years, if not for two of them you wouldn't be
here
today reading this email: The Internet and Acid-Jazz (and associated) music.
So like it or not, this was our decade. For most of us, some of the music
released this decade was, and might very well will be, the best music of our
lives. So, pore over your CD/record collections, maybe look at the AJ list
archives, and go back...waaay back...back in time...
Rules, etc:
* This list is based on, but entirely independent of, the 1999 Poll list.
Please
do not send me 1999 AJ poll entries nor send the Decade Poll entries to the
annual poll organizer.
* All works or artists must have been released between January 1, 1990 and
December 31, 1999, with the exception of the "Rare Groove track of the
Decade."
* Deadline for entries is Monday, January 17, 2000.
* Email entries to: elson@westworld.com
* Poll results will be released on a website on February 1, 2000.
