    Here is the crazy story:

I was in the Silicon Valley last Saturday with my dad, and after going to
the Tech Museum of Innovation, we headed out to the first college my dad
went to back in his youth, Foothill College. We went there because I am a
vintage computer fanatic, and my dad remembered that in the Engineering
Dept., there is a computer museum of sorts. As we were walking around the
campus, my dad was sharing his old memories with me, mainly in the music
department, as he was a tuba player there (among other places, and still
is), and griping that the new numbering system isn't as good as the old one
was. Anyways, we came across the KFJC studios, and something in me new it
was special, but I just couldn't remember what. Maybe it was just that it
reminded me of one of my favorite stations back at home, KDVS. But I knew
it was more than that. Well, after stopping in and listening the the DJ
talk and play surf rock and picked up a flyer for the record swap that was
on Sunday, we went on to go find the museum. But to no avail, it was both
late and Saturday, so after awile of searching, we decided to leave and seek
    another thrill.
Then just now, as I was reading my email, I saw this:

    >KFJC 89.7 FM, Los Altos Hills, CA
    >Webcasting 24-7 at www.kfjc.org
    >______________________________________________
    >Mark Turner nugroove@pacbell.net
    >
    >Hear "Jazzadelica" with Rocky Rococo on KFJC
    >Sundays 10pm-2am, 89.7 FM, Los Altos Hills, CA
    >______________________________________________

and went OOOooooooooooooohhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! I reveld in the delight that I
had been to the Jazzadelica headquarters, and I hadn't even realized it!
The strange post-excitment consumed me for about three minutes. My dad said
that he didn't listen to KFJC much because it didn't come in well were he
lived (Mountain View), but I bet that if he had a show like Jazzadelica to
listen to, that would have been very different! :) That is a nice station
you have there, Mark. I especially liked the broken Bad Boy record proudly
displayed on the door, and the Handsome Boy Modeling School poster, and the
Mr. T Galoob action figure box. College students allways have good taste
    (sometimes :)

    Peter
