i guess i've been lurking too much, this new cam (i've had it for almost a
week, now) is DOPE!! i was really happy w/it. it's got his nice
atmospherics, plus some stuff i can bump on the dancefloor--why does this
seem like too much to ask for from *DJ* producers?
does anyone know what's going on w/cam's apparent fascination w/yoruba?
there's a tune on *beat assassinated* called "baron samedi" (the gatekeeper)
and his new album is called *the loa project*--isn't baron samedi considered
a loa? maybe he's finally discovered william gibson--"count zero" or is it
"mona lisa overdrive" uses the loa as a metaphor.
