    Thought of a few more--

    3) Buffalo Daughter/Butter 08-- loads of electronica elements, & the
Grand Royale connection kind of gives it away, but it's still killer
    rock'n'roll--

    4) That new Boss Hog record sounds like a young Blondie hopping on
    various modern-day bandwagons; pretty sweet.

    5) In a scuzzed-out, R&B/garage mold, the recent Andre Williams
    records are totally stellar.

    6) Pretty much 50/50 electronica & rock, the new Primal Scream
features Kevin Shields on many tracks, including the amazing 9+
minute long "MBV Arkestra" (title gets you somewhere in the
vicinity). The album as a whole is little more aggro than I normally
enjoy, but once you get past those elements, a good listen.

Okay, enough of this particular off-topic from me.
