I'm sorry, but after waiting about an hour in the freezing cold to get into
this "hip club", and being passed over because I wasn't a local or with any
girls, I gave up. For me, it's all about the music, I could care less for
their elitist "Studio 54" type door policy, where people feel validated once
they've been chosen to come inside. That's just not the atmosphere I'd like
    to be a part of.

stimp, where were you when I was asking about parties in Montreal back in
the summer?! And again, I'm sure there's tons of good parties going on, but
when I was there, no one I spoke to knew of anything, which is why I was
disappointed (and usually, I'd expect the guys at record stores to know
about all the good parties). And I'm pretty open minded when it comes to
musical events, so it's not like I was limiting myself to only clubs that
    play 2-step-ghetto-tech-shiki-shiki-afro-funk.

    Adam
