DJ Essential here! Next week I'll be in SF for business and appearing on
Groovetech, Tues. Oct. 24th 4-6pm Spinning 2-Step Garage and maybe some
deep jazzy house (ie. Kevin Yost, Presence, Jori Hulkonen, and our
Urbanite stuff). Also I'm looking for clubs to guest at, (I know it's
at the last minute), but I wanna get the Urbanite flava out to the Bay
Area. I'll be spreading the silky soulful vibes of "Must be Luv", our
latest release. Then I wanna check a few clubs and do some record
shopping. Yes, Amoeba, Groove Mechant, Open Mind, and even Recycled
Records. I hope they still have cheap boogie/ Soul records there. Is
Zebra Records still open? If U live in or near SF, hit me back ASAP.
I'd like to do a an Acid Jazz list meet and drink somewhere. I'll be
there from Oct. 20th -25th.
