    I think I've figured out how CDDB *really* works.. When you insert a disc
    into your computer, it just sends a snippet of one of the songs to their
    servers, where a group of music aficionado's are waiting to identify the
    song and from what album/compilation it comes from. They then locate this
    information and quickly send it back, all in less time than it takes for you
    to fart.

    Or it could've been that I had named a few of the songs without realizing it
    before I burnt the CD, and when I inserted it into my computer, it did some
    kind of "fuzzy search" and found the closest match, in this case, Shaolin
    Soul, which was correct. But I like the other explanation better!

    P.S. I think a lot of my vinyl has "satanic encryption" in it.. but that's
    another story altogether..
