i wanted to let everyone know that there's been a change on the dubnotic
front--i.e., DON'T SHOW UP THIS SUNDAY!!!
the deal is this... on the (new) flyers i gave all the info and listed
a $6 cover on a SUNDAY for a CHILL-OUT GIG!! with ample prodding from a
good friend of mine, i gave this serious thought--would I pay $6 to hear
ME at a chill out gig? umm, no, actually... so then i decided to drop
the cover to $3, but then i couldn't think of ANY chill-out gigs that
charge a cover...
fortunately, saturdays have opened up in the same location, so i'm gonna
switch to that night and play more upbeat & danceable music. we'll be
starting in a week or two and my partner will be playing probably mostly
hiphop (underground), and i'm gonna throw some funk & breakbeat-y kinda
stuff in. the address again is 11277 national bl. (between sawtelle &
405). there's parking in the back--which is where the entrance is also.
thanks to all the people that came out to dubnotic last week!! my
apologies for the switcheroo...
