    Groove Distribution Highlights for 08-05-01

The New Releases List and the Restocks List for this week are now posted on
    our website at http://www.groovedis.com.
These are just some of the highlights from this week’s New Releases List.
It's not a very big week for new releases so this would be a good week to
catch up on some titles you may have missed and spend some time perusing the
    restocks/stock list.

Abstract/Downtempo/Leftfield: New 12” single from Pork’s Baby Mammoth, Ruby
remix album on CD, Bombay Jazz Palace from Outcaste, the latest Sound Colors
compilation on X:Treme, Wauvenfold (who remixed the Ruby 12” from a couple
of weeks back) drops their new single, and Zero 7 drop their latest single
“Destiny” featuring remixes by Hefner and Photek.

Beats ‘N’ Breaks: Nice new domestic single from Oaktown Players (two West
Coast deejays with a taste for funky breakbeats) and from Whole Nine Yards
comes a new Rhythm Division 12” called “Aurora”.

Drum & Bass: New single from Reinforced by Special Touch.

Hip Hop: Chicagoan E.C. Illa drops a new single “Don’t Get Me Started”.

House: New Charles Webster 12” on Peacefrog, nice double pack single from
Dax Riders (unlike last week’s downtempo 12” this one’s all filtered house
with remixes by David Duriez and DJ Gabriel), Raven Maize’s “Real Life”
comes out with a brand new Fat Boy Slim remix, and the new Truant album
comes out on Paper (and not Repap like the singles).

Nu Jazz/Broken Beat: The Buscemi remix 12” listed up last week should show
up this week and the new Son Of Scientist 12” on Main Squeeze produced by
    label boss IG Culture.

2-Step/UK Garage: New DJ Abstract 12” on new domestic label Verde, a
spin-off from excellent dnb label Green, Dred Controllers rework Usher’s “U
Remind Me”, Oxide & Neutrino give Missy Elliot the 2-step treatment on “One
Minute Man”, and remixers Stargate get remixed by Sunship.
