Mystic?
Actually, I've seen her a few times, heard a few of her older things,
checked her out on The Angel's stuff, and seen her her around the local
scene for some time now. Someone gave me her CD a few months ago, but I
haven't had a chance to check it out yet. Should I? If you're into Jill
Scott, JazzyFatNastees, Me'Shell, D-Note, Young Disciples, Erykah Badu(first
album), Jhelisa Anderson, julie Dexter and things of their ilk, you know
just where my tastes in contemporary female R&B singers. I haven't heard
everything, but if it's anything like Macy Gray, let me know now, so I can
go trade the CD.
Bottom line from what I have seen and heard from mystic, she's pretty good,
although I'm not sure if I'd be considered representative or even reflective
of this community, I'm just a music fan.
