    Groove Distribution Highlights for 8-13-01

    The New Releases List and the Restocks List for this week are now posted on
    our website at http://www.groovedis.com.
    Things are still kinda slow, with not a lot of big new releases. Expect
    things to pick up in early Sept. However, there are still some excellent
    titles in stock this week.
    These are just some of the highlights from this week’s New Releases List.

    Abstract/Downtempo/Leftfield: Latest 12” in the Sky EP Series on Exceptional
    by Blu Print, the 4th single in the Sincerely Yours series on Klein, DJ
    Akashi CD on Japan’s Viola, Malcolm Catto album on Mo’ Wax, the dope debut
    album from Mr. Bird now in on vinyl, new from Original Soundtracks comes a
    new Tim “Love” Lee re-edit of Ray Barretto’s “Soul Drummers”, new bizaare
    remix 12” from Gomma featuring an Funkstorung remix of Ike Yard (plus the
    last Gomma 12” “Barrio Style 3” that slipped past us), and Pork finally
    releases a sampler 12” for the Dubplates From The Lab compilation.

    Beats ‘N’ Breaks: Hard breakstep 12” from Bass Invaders, UK only DJ Hype
    remix of Etienne De Crecy’s “Scratched” single, new Howie B promo 3-tracker,
    and a new album from Super Dense Child (aka Bronx Dogs) on Marble Bar.

    Drum & Bass: Bug Nyne 12” on Reinforced, John B “Future Reference” album,
    and more finished stock of the new Klute 12” (with Doc Scott remix).

    Hip Hop: New Apeman 12” from Gray and the new “Word Lab 2” compilation.

    House: New Dajae D12” on Defected, Jaam 12” with Erik Truffaz on horns and
    Rollercone remixing, Roger Sanchez album now in on DJ friendly triple vinyl,
    and a new Soma 12” from Tony Thomas.

    Nu Jazz/Broken Beat: New single from Bartholomaus & Raabstein (formerly
    Leuploz & Raabenstein), Frank Popp Ensemble 12” on Unique, abstract broken
    beat by Attica Blues on their debut 12” for Surplus Records, and a new Soul
    Electric 12” on In Flight.

    2-Step/UK Garage: Fab Factory 12” on Pottheadz (similar to pals Gush
    Collective), So Solid Crew remix Tymes 4, plus lots of white labels.

    Other: Limited stock on Hospital and New Sector Movements t-shirts and lots
    of Pro-Sac record bags (the same ones both we and Ninja Tunes use) back in
    stock.
