    stupid question:
what is broken beat? what are some song examples? according to a
previous message, manhood is broken beat? 4 hero is broken beat? The
4hero sounds similar to two pages to me. Was it broken beat back then
    too. These labels get confusing.

    outkast:
I highly recommend you check out "funkin around" by Outkast on their
greatest hits called Outkast. (There are three new songs on it.) It
starts off with Andre 3000 trying to sound english ( a southerner
(which I am) trying to sound english, now that's funny).

Outkast has been great at mixing up different sounds and styles, but
this is like the epitome of mixing it up. You can tell they've been
listening to the stuff we talk about on this list. The horns are
right on too; just like Pfunk or something. The bass is up in the
mix, too. I would love to hear if you guys were surprised and
delighted to hear a UK influence in this song. I can't stop playing
    it.
