Not to be a bastard, but I just got pretty annoyed... its only been two
days, I come to my box and its completely swamped. I guess everyone has
their right to an opinion, but i was not happy to see over 150 messages from
this group to weed through. I ended up deleting a majority of them without
reading them because the ones I did read were boring the shit out of me.
As far as cd trading/napster type stuff. People know damn well they're
wrong for downloading loads of music to burn on cd or trading all day and
not buying anything. We have to buy the music... its important. At least
for the smaller labels. If you trade/download more music than you buy, your
sucking away profits from the artists you like... bad karma in my opinion.
But to each its own. I use Napster sometimes, but at the same time, I spend
like 200 dollars a month on vinyl.
Hm. Defining this music. Sometimes I wish I could. I hate when people are
like... "what kinda music do you play?". And I say "uh, its hard to
describe... jazz, dance, but not dance like you think, kinda house but not
at all, kinda drum n bass but not really, kinda hip hop, but not like you
think", it either intrigues people or makes you seem pretentious. However,
I think it's cool that we cant really define this music.
