    Yeah, what's the deal? Used to be you could go to a book store and get some semi-decent recommendations from salesfolks.

    What I was eluding to, though, is having those recommendations on the terminals. It would be cool to go to a CD store, look to see if 9 Lazy 9's The Herb is in stock, and have it suggest you check out Funki Porcini, Faze Action or the Sharpshooters. Can you imagine what that might do for sales? Especially in Baltimore where _none_ of this music gets any air play.

    I'm not sure where you are, Baltimore is it (?), but the Barnes & Nobel's
    around here, NJ USA,have a pretty good selection and they all have
    terminals. This is the best idea yet b/c instead of asking someone who
    usually has no idea...you can type in the artist and yo'll get a listing of
    all ablums, if they're in stock, and what genre they're catagorized
    under....very helpful if you already know what you're looking for.
