two-step history

    So Dego from 2000 Black recently mentioned something about playing with a
    soundsystem back in the mid-80s, and playing something called "two-step" -
    not two-step garage, nor two-step/tech-step, but a kind of soul music,
    "almost like ballads in a way."

    Does anyone have any knowledge about this? Have you heard this term before?
